Road transport by coach from the airport in Accra to Tarkwa will be arranged for all participants flying into Ghana.

A shuttle will convey participants from the airport to the KNUST Guest house at Osu, Accra from the 31st July, 2012. Accommodation at the guest house will be at the expense of the participants. Rooms cost US$60.00/night.

The coach will leave Accra to Tarkwa, a distance of 300 km on the morning of 31st July, 2012 at 10.00 am GMT from the KNUST guest house at Osu. Participants in and around Accra may join the bus. Foreign participants are encouraged to use this mode of transport.

Conference participants are advised to send their travel itinerary so they can be picked at the airport.

Alternatively, participants can pick a State Transport Corporation (STC) coach at Tudu or Kaneshie terminals in Accra to Tarkwa. Metro Mass Transport (MMT) is also available at all Regional and District Centers.
