Mr. Paul Yeboah is currently the Assistant Registrar and Head of the University Relations Unit of the University of Mines and Technology, Tarkwa.

Mr. Yeboah is an Alumnus of the Catholic University of Sacred Heart in Milan, Italy where he obtained an MBA in Global Business and Sustainability – Social Entrepreneurship and Management and also an Alumnus of KNUST where he had a Master of Science degree in Development Policy and Planning and a B.A. degree in Geography and Economics. He is a trained Social Entrepreneur and a Development Policy Planner/Socio-Economist.

He has worked in various capacities since he joined the KNUST in March 2002. He worked in the Office of the Deputy Registrar (General Administration), where he gave general assistance to the Deputy Registrar as well as acting as Secretary to some committees of the University such as University’s Board of Survey, Transport Management Committee, and Security Management Committee and served on the University’s Procurement Committee as a representative of the Deputy Registrar among others.

In the Faculty of Law he was the first Administrator of the faculty when it was first established in 2003. He was the pillar around which the administration of the new Faculty revolved in terms of the academic, human resources, general administration, procurement among others and giving support and assistance to the foundation Dean. Here he was secretary to the Faculty Board, Faculty Appointment and Promotions Committee, Faculty Admissions Committee and also served as secretary to some committees of the College of Art and Social Sciences when the College was created in 2006 such as the College Strategic Planning Committee, Secretary, Committee for the Construction of Proposed Students Hostel for the College of Art & Social Sciences, Secretary, Committee to plan the Launch of CASS & Industrial & Professional Relations News Letters among others.

At the University Relations Office he assisted the Deputy Registrar in the organization of University events, media relations and protocol, and also served as the secretary to the Congregation Planning Committee and the Public Lectures Committee of the University.

As a Socio-Economist and a Social Entrepreneur, his interests include Training in Empowerment of marginalized groups, training in simple business plan writing, fund raising for start-ups, evaluation and assessment, project management skills, business plan development, social entrepreneurship and corporate social responsibility.
