The University of Mines and Technology (UMaT) wishes to inform Graduands and the general public that the University will hold its 16th Congregation Ceremony for postgraduate and undergraduate students who completed their respective programmes during the 2023/2024 academic year.
Only Graduands will be permitted entry into the congregation venue.

Deadline for Payment: Monday, 25th November 2024. Graduands unable to attend the ceremony are required to pay the graduation fee before certificates can be issued.

Graduands are required to make payments before collecting their gowns and souvenirs. Collection will take place from 25th to 29th November 2024 at their respective Schools/Faculties, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Graduands from the School of Railways and Infrastructure Development (SRID) are to collect theirs from the Estate Unit at the Auditorium.
Please present your bank payment voucher or other evidence of payment to collect your gown and souvenirs.
Certificates and transcripts will be issued immediately after the ceremony upon the return of academic gowns at designated collection points. Graduands are to:
Graduands from the School of Railways and Infrastructure Development are to pick up their certificates and transcripts from the University Auditorium.
Note: Graduands unable to collect their certificates on the day of the ceremony can do so at the Academic and Student Affairs Secretariat (Room 312) starting Tuesday, 10th December 2024.
