Mrs. Doodo urged the beneficiary schools without library to keep the books as reference materials and find a common place for students and teachers to have access to the books instead of turning them into decorative materials in offices.

Mr. E.K Bedai, Registrar of the University remarked that the vision of the University was not only to become a centre of academic excellence but also to provide support to other schools in the community who were in similar business with the University in knowledge acquisition and dissemination.

Mr. Joseph Quagraine, Headmaster of Prestea Senior High School who received the donation on behalf of the beneficiaries thanked UMaT for the kind gesture and promised that the books would be put to good use.

Earlier, Prof Newton Amegbey, Pro Vice Chancellor of UMaT asked the beneficiary institutions to see the donation of the books as a modest contribution by the university toward the stocking of their libraries.
