AMARFIO, Eric Mensah is a senior lecturer at the Department of Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering,  University of Mines and Technology (UMaT), Tarkwa, Ghana. He obtained his PhD in Petroleum Engineering from UMaT, Tarkwa, his masters in the same programme from African University of Science and Technology (AUST), Abuja, Nigeria and his BSc in Chemical Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology(KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana. He also holds certificates in Energy and Environment, and Business and Innovation both from African University of Science and Technology, Abuja, Nigeria. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers International, USA, the Editorial board of the International Journal of Petroleum and Petrochemical Engineering, India and Trends in Petroleum Engineering (TPE). His research areas of interest are; Nano-drilling fluids technology, Reservoir and production optimization, Enhanced oil recovery, and Petroleum Economics.
