Ivy Botchway is a lecturer at the Computer Science and Engineering Department of the University of Mines and Technology, Tarkwa, Ghana. She acquired a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Mines and Technology.

She is a member of professional bodies such as the Internet Society Chapter (ISOC), International Computer Science and Engineering Society (ICSES), International Association of Engineers (IAENG), Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD) and Black Professionals in Tech (BPTN). She has a number of publications in international journals to her credit.

She has an attentive and motivated nature and loves working in fast-paced environments. She loves to give back to society by transferring the knowledge acquired over the years to others through Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) programs.
