  • Engr Dr Johannes Ami holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering, Master of Science in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering all from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
  • Johannes Ami lectures in the Department of Chemical and Petrochemical Engineering of the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT).
  • His research interest include Biofuels, Renewable Energy, Biotechnology, Water and Waste Water Treatment, Waste to Energy Technologies (Pyrolysis, Gasification) and Chemical Product Design.
  • He has participated in and facilitated several local, national and international conferences
  • He is a Licensed Engineer (Corporate Member) of  the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET, Ghana)
