21st Matriculation Ceremony Goes Virtual
With great pleasure, we hereby announce the forthcoming 21st Matriculation Ceremony, marking the auspicious initiation of your academic adventure with our esteemed institution. In view of the prevailing conditions, we have opted for a virtual format to facilitate a warm, inclusive, and personalized reception for newcomers from all faculties.

Ceremony Schedule:
Day 1: 17th February 2024
9:00am-1:00pm: Faculty of Integrated Management Science and School of Postgraduate Studies
1:00pm-6:00pm: Faculty of Mining and Minerals Technology
6:00pm-11:00pm: Faculty of Computing and Mathematical Sciences
Day 2: 18th February 2024
6:00am-10:00am: Faculty of Engineering
10:00am-2:00pm: Faculty of Geosciences and Environmental Studies
2:00pm-6:00pm: School of Petroleum Studies
6:00pm-10:00pm: School of Railways and Infrastructure Development
How to Join the Virtual Matriculation Ceremony:
Step 1: Visit the Student's Portal using the provided link: https://portal.umat.edu.gh/students/
Step 2: Login with your Username and Password.
Step 3: Click on the "Event" tab.
Step 4: Select "Join Matriculation" from the list of events.
Step 5: Read and agree to the Matriculation Oath by clicking on the corresponding option.
Step 6: Tick the checkbox to indicate your attendance and then submit.
