Applications are invited from suitably qualified applicants for admission into the postgraduate programmes.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENT
For PgD or Master’s programmes, applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree (Second Class Lower Division or better) in the relevant discipline or related Engineering programme from a recognised University.
PhD applicants must possess a Master’s degree in the relevant or related discipline. A PhD applicant who does not hold a Research Master’s Degree shall first register for a master’s degree by research. The applicant may thereafter be recommended to register for the PhD Degree after the end of the first year of the programme upon meeting the University’s requirements.

Ghanaian Applicants
Applicants are required to purchase the Online Admission E-vouchers from any branch of Access Bank, GCB Bank, Ecobank, Zenith Bank, Cal Bank, UBA, Fidelity Bank, Stanbic Bank and Post Offices at the cost of GH¢ 250.00. The E-voucher will be used by the applicant as the login details on https://portal.umat.edu.gh/apply

SUBMISSION OF FORMS
The completed online application form should be printed and submitted with the relevant documents including certified true copies of certificates and original transcripts obtained at the Master’s and Bachelor’s levels or their equivalents, wherever applicable.
CLOSING DATE
The closing date for submission of completed application documents is 8th December, 2023 for the January, 2024 Admission. Applications submitted after the deadline will be considered for July, 2024 Admission.
